Chad Ellis

Band leader Chad Ellis brings over 40 years of live performance experience singing lead vocals and playing acoustic guitar. As a member of several notable bands, such as Black Diamond and Wild Country, he enjoyed the experience of either opening or closing for several national acts including The Bellamy Brothers, Rascal Flats, Martina McBride, and Jon Pardi. Having been classically trained at Weber State University Chad strives for precision, but his wild side brings energy and excitement.

Keith Ray

Guitar, Steel Guitar, Vocals

Lead guitar player and singer Keith Ray honed his guitar picking skills in Georgia surrounded by some of the best musicians in the South. Keith is one of the finest B-Bender guitar players in the western U.S., and maintains a full schedule as an in-demand musician for several other bands and projects for his guitar, bass, lap steel and Dobro skills.

Kirk

Bass

Bass player and lead singer Kirk (Leo K) Hoggard has extensive experience playing in bands and performing as a solo musician. Starting from an early age, his music background covers jazz, big band, country classics, classic rock & roll, and rockabilly. Kirk cofounded two touring bands, Jivin’ Highway and Black Tie Affair, playing jazz and big band standards. A highlight of Kirk’s career was a two-week residency playing the main stage at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in Park City, Utah. Leo K then created and fronted his family band, The Silver Sage Chuck Wagon Dinner Show, a successful endeavor he ran for five years.

Tom Roche

Drums

Drummer Tom Roche has been performing in the northern Utah area for 10 years, playing with country band Spur Crazy, and variety bands Spot & Waldo and The RaVens before joining Currant Creek. He provides a solid foundation and brings years of live sound engineering to the band.
